How to use the Edit PDF Online
- Upload a PDF file.
- Pick a tool: Text, Edit Text, Image, Highlight, or Cover — then click (or click-drag, for Highlight/Cover) on the page.
- Click an element to select it — drag to move, use the corner handle to resize, or use its toolbar to edit text, color, or opacity.
- Navigate between pages with the arrows, then click "Save & Download" when you're done.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Rendering, editing, and saving all happen locally in your browser — the file is never sent to a server.
Can I edit existing text in the PDF, like a quantity or a name?
Yes, with the "Edit Text" tool — click directly on existing text and it automatically covers the original with a white box and drops a matching, pre-filled text box on top, ready to retype. Under the hood this is still cover-and-replace, not true in-place editing (PDF files don't store text in a form that can be safely rewritten), but it makes the common case — fixing a wrong number or word — a single click instead of manually drawing a cover box and guessing the position.
Why doesn't the replacement text look exactly like the original?
The new text uses a standard font at an estimated size based on the original text's height, since matching the PDF's exact original font isn't reliably possible. For small numbers or short words this is usually unnoticeable; for stylized headings it may look slightly different.
What's the difference between Highlight and Cover?
Both add a rectangle, just with different starting color and opacity — Highlight is yellow and semi-transparent (for marking text), Cover is solid white (for blocking out content). You can adjust either one's color and opacity after placing it.
Can I undo a mistake?
Select the element you want to remove and click the × on its toolbar. There's currently no multi-step undo, so double-check before navigating away from a page.
